Job description
Our client is a leading manufacturer & is looking to recruit an experienced quality assurance engineer.
The role would suit a highly motivated individual, with a hands-on approach to QA whose experience comes from operating within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Applicants should be able to deliver results through working autonomously and must have first class attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance for all aspects of QMS
Dealing with returns, rejects, and warranties as the first point of contact for customers and suppliers.
Producing High Quality Reports in response to customer returns and or warranties.
Ensuring that manufacturing and related processes comply with QMS ISO 90001 standards.
Conducting internal & external audits.
Liaising with suppliers to ensure that the companies material requirements are met in full.
Determining and implementing in house quality procedures, standards, and or specifications.
Driving quality objectives to improve company efficiency and profitability.
Providing support to the commercial, engineering & purchasing departments.
Improving and maintaining standards for health safety and the environment in accordance with BMS systems.
Recording analysing and distributing quality assurance statistical information.
Skills / Qualifications
QA / QS background within manufacturing.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
A high level of computer literacy.
Knowledge and experience of working towards ISO 90001 and ISO 140001 standards.
Experienced in the preparation of ISIR and PPAP documentation.
A recognized qualification in QA or mechanical engineering.
